Junior Church
We have Junior Church for all children every week during our Sunday service, run by a dedicated team of leaders. Children leave the main service after about a short time and return towards the end. We enjoy teaching, games, prayer and lots of fun activities. We also get together for music and worship, and everyone can join in whether you think you are musical or not!
Teenagers
We have a brilliant youth group which meets EVERY SUNDAY during the 10.30am service. And at other times too! It’s a great time of discussion, prayer, and getting into the Bible. We also love eating together. Other activities include ‘Stick Around Sunday’ when we stay after the main service. There’s lots of other things to get involved in, including the worship group. Come and join us!
Children's Club
Our summer club is an annual event usually held in the first week of the school holiday. It attracts loads of children from the local area. We enjoy songs, films, stories, games, craft, food and much more! It is held in the church grounds and is a great community event.
This year our theme was ‘Deep Sea Divers’ and was part of our fantastic Festival of Joy. Look out for information about 2027!
Baby and Toddler Group
Our thriving group is for all babies and toddlers. Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Carers are all welcome. We meet every Wednesday morning between 9.15am – 11.30am. Bring your bumps, babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers! We have lots of fun with songs and suitable games and craft. See you there!
Other Events for Children and Youth
And also… Come and join us a couple of times each term for LEGO CHURCH. This is on Sunday afternoons from 4.00-5.00pm. We sometimes run other events including a ‘Light and Hope’ event in October. There are many opportunities for children to get involved, whether it’s by dressing up as an angel at Christmas or involvement in our regular services.
St. Alban’s enjoys strong links with Beacon Hill School. We regularly take assemblies, the Harvest and Christmas services are held here and classes visit the church throughout the year. We also support our local uniformed organisations.
