Children and Youth
We believe that children are not just the church of tomorrow,
but part of the church of today!
We have a Junior Church every week during our Sunday service, run by a dedicated team of leaders. Children leave the main service after about 15 minutes and return towards the end. We have groups for all children.
Our latest Junior Church celebration can be viewed HERE.
We have run various successful groups for young people, including our popular Youth Brunch. We have also had a large Friday night group and smaller gatherings. Teens have gone to Soul Survivor in the summer.
This term, we will be running Youth Alpha on Sunday mornings. All teens are invited for fun, food and friendship.
Holiday Club is an annual event usually held in the first week of the school summer holiday. It attracts over 100 children from the local area and we enjoy songs, DVDs, games, craft, food and much more! It is held in the church grounds and is a great community event.
Baby and Toddler Group
Our thriving toddler group is for all babies and toddlers. Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Carers are all welcome. We meet every Wednesday morning between 9.00am – 11.15am. Bring your bumps, babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers!

Other Events for Children and Youth
And also… We sometimes run other events including a ‘Light Party’ in October. There are many opportunities for children to get involved, whether it’s by dressing up as an angel at Christmas or involvement in our regular services.
St Alban’s enjoys strong links with Beacon Hill School. We regularly take assemblies, the Harvest and Christmas services are held here and classes visit the church throughout the year.
The Youth Alpha Series is a brand new, interactive resource from Alpha – the series explores life, faith and meaning.
Each episode looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. It’s for young people aged around 11-18 years, whether they have a Christian background or not.
