Life Groups
These are a very important part of the life of the church.
They enable us to spend time with a group of people with whom we can explore issues of faith. Large services don’t always give us the chance to get to know people well, or discuss things in depth. Being on our own can mean we miss out on the opportunity to be encouraged and challenged, and to find a place of care and friendship.
We offer several small groups around the parish (and online). They meet at various times and on different days. Every group is unique but seeks to be a place where the Bible can be studied, prayers can be spoken, and life can be shared.
This term we are exploring the New Testament book of 1 John..

Men
If you are a local man and are interested in, curious or convinced about Jesus and would like to share some time exploring with some of your neighbours what it means to be a Christian man today, then contact Richard Maybury on 604072 and come along to one of our occasional meetings.
We have enjoyed a Saturday breakfast, and many popular curry nights. A number of us got together for Table Talk where we met for food and beer and to talk about the stuff that matters …
Listen to what Jesus means to a few men below – including one of the Fishermen!
